Within the purchasing department of our customer, a leader in the railway industry, your main goal is to support the procurement business process owner to : 

  • Deploy and sustain the strategy, the standards, and the goals for Procurement’s tools and/or processes that saves time, money, and resources ;
  • Lead convergence roadmap with Global Procurement Center organization ;
  • Measure, monitor, improve and control the procurement performance in line with goals and objectives through continuous governances ;
  • Coordinate activities with each pillar of the procurement T&E, Transformation and Efficiency, team linking them to ensure highest level of procurement performance and maturity ;

Supportive role for procurement process optimization, your main responsibilities are :

  • As a process owner, you are in the accountability for procurement process deployment, maturity, and development in line with standard process of our customer ;
  • Responsible with the PO’s, Process Owner, accountability to access and identify what changes must be made and what needs to be done to drive them at every level, from operations up to senior management ;
  • Responsible within the accountability of PO to drive changes to process and enforce compliance and consistency with relentless and effective communication ;
  • Responsible within the PO accountability to ensure the Procurement community is informed, trained, and respects all process ad tools usage ;
  • Responsible within the PO accountability to follows procurement performance through routine performance dashboard reviews supporting procurement leadership team. Collection, analysis, preparation, and maintenance of supporting data ;

Profil recherché

Education :

  • Post-Secondary Degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or business administration ;

Experience :

  • 2-5 years relevant work experience demonstrating flawless execution - independent user, Tool Key User – medium exposure, Small/Medium size initiative coordination ;
  • Consulted on process optimization and documentation, Main POC, Point Of Contact, as process/technical expert of complex topics/tools (Region/Domain) ;
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement : preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms ;
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks ;
  • Experience using business management software and tools, including SAP, SAP Ariba, and/or Qlik Sense data analytics tool ;

  • Microsoft Azure/ Azure DevOps, Microsoft Power BI desired ;
